      Dear little Adrianna
Welcome to the big wide world which has many exciting journeys in store
      for you.
Under the protective and guiding wing of your doting parents you are
sure to have a fabulous time....
one word of warning - your dad suffers high blood pressure in moments of
stress so please be gentle with him - your mum does her best to keep him
calm and has learnt that the best way to relax him is to send him diving
with his camera in tow. Remember this when you are old enough to go
      dating!
I am looking forward to meeting you on your first visit to Sydney

Dear Adrianna, You are so beautiful and I love your name!  Your parents
look so happy and proud of you.  Your grandparents are thrilled also.  I
was there last night when your Grandma Carol received your e-mail signed
"Karpucci".  That sounds like something you might step in after you learn
to walk.  I suggested to your Karp Grandparents that their whole family
should change their names to Banducci to facilitate party name tags and
family inheritances. Grandma Carol Banducci liked that but old Grandpa
Larry Banducci has problems with any "change".  Most importantly, you are a
wonderful addition to all of our lives.  I hope to see you in person before
you're old enough to step in any "Karpucci".  Love Carmen Asturias Bertoli

      Dear Adrianna,
Welcome to Earth.  You have barely arrived and already have the
upper hand over those two you call mom and dad.  Not only that,
you have the capacity to control any adult within any area you
may be for, oh, say, a hundred yards.  This will continue with
strangers and relatives through those toddling years but with
your parents for at least eighteen (frankly, my dear, I'd say for
the rest of their lives...speaking from experience but no need
to alarm them just yet), and proximity won't enter in.  In fact,
the farther you are from them at any time, the more actual control
you can have.  Isn't that exciting?  And the amazing thing is, they
have entered into this bondage willingly!  They know you are the
cutest most beautiful smartest most talented gifted brightest
baby ever born, so there you are.  With all this devotion, how can
life be anything but wonderful? So, hey, girl, wake up and take advantage.
Upper hand is really really really fun.

      Adrinanna,

Welcome to the great big world! What a lucky little girl you are to have
picked Arlene for your Grandmother. She has the best smile and knows just what
little girls like. I bet your Mom and Dad have had fun showing you off to
      everyone in the whole world.

      Hello Dear Adrianna

It is very nice to meet you.  I know you through your Grandma Carol,
who is a wonderful person (I hope you will grow up to be as brave and
strong and smart and cheerful and friendly as she is).
Your photos are quite grand, but who, in your family, has been able to
find the time to create this great website?  I bet your Uncle David has
been involved, as he is quite bright about matters such as this.
I'm certain that your Grandma Carol and Grandpa Larry will have a most
      delightful visit with you.

      Your Canadian friend, Dina

when you have people as smart as Susan and Jeff!!!

Have fun, and will be anxiously waiting for Grandma to get home, to hear all
      the news!!!

      Hi,

I'm having breakfast with David and Torey at David's place.  David made
apple pancakes (ebelskiver).  I saw your family pictures (Adrianna's page)
again, and they're wonderful.  I'm looking forward to the next page (First
      Month).

I mailed you a little package right after Christmas - did you get it?  I
forgot to tell you that the little lamb is from Susie.  We were just trying
      to save postage!

Keep well!  Love, Grandma / Great Grandma

Hi Susan, What a wonderful web page. I had dinner with Ruby, (David's mother in law and told her about your page, so I just downloaded some pictures for her to see. I'm sure you don't rmember me but you were on the swim team with my daughter Micki McCombs. My birthday is also Dec 4th and my grandaughter's birthday is the same a Ruby's Feb 4th. Anyway congratulations and best of luck with everything. Sincerely, Launi McCombs

Well, I've been dragging my feet about writing to you, my first niece.

You're about a month old and your father seems to have way too much free
time on his hands with your website.  Either that, or he's just really
proud of you.  I suppose that's it.  Actually, we all are.

Anyway, I'm rambling - I hope to meet you in March when your parents are
thinking of visiting us in the states.  I'm so jealous of you, by the way -
I'd love to visit New Zealand again...

      Love,

      -David

Was surprised and pleased to hear about Adrianna's arrival.  I'm very
happy for all of you.  Just recently learned about this website and am
just now able to check it out and leave a message.

She is totally adorable.  She obviously gets her looks from Mom!!

I will keep tabs on her through this website.  Am looking forward to
      seeing you all next year.

      Congrats,

      Hey Adrianna,

Your Uncle Pete and Aunt BI of West Chester PA (formerly of UCSB!!!) want to wish you the very best in your first months.
Uncle Pete cannot wait to tell you all about your daddy - especially the day he dressed up like a Russian General.  All the best from your friends on the east coast.

Hello there little one this is Aunt BI and I just wanted to say hello to you myself along with Christian and Katarina. We really enjoyed looking at the pictures of you with your mommy and daddy. We can't wait to meet you. I hope it won't be when you're 5!!
When you get older don't go with your daddy to Pizza Hut because you won't get any pizza!! We love you Aunt BI

      To darling Adrianna,

      I love your name!

I'm the sister of your grandma and grandpa Karp's friend, Dina Hanson
who lives in Quick, B.C. Your grandma Carol sent me your address so I
could learn about you and see you. You are beautiful and growing quickly
as you should be. I hope to read and hear more about you from the
webpage and from grandma Carol. I'm sure she'll be sticking close to her
computer after she has her hip surgery.

Best wishes to you and your Mom & Dad.

Adrianna, it was so good to meet you in Seattle this weekend! Elisabeth
really liked looking at you. Your parents were worried that you were low
on the New Zealand growth charts, but you and Elisabeth were about the
same weight at four months, and she was in the 50th percentile. I think
you look perfectly normal! Just don't let those big kids beat up on you
      when you get older!

Your parents are very proud of you (rightfully so!). I hope we'll meet
again at future political science conferences (I'm a sociologist, but I
still find them interesting, so maybe you will too, someday!).

I'm so glad that your Uncle Joel and I got a chance to meet you.  You
are absolutely gorgeous and obviously the apple of both your parent's
eyes.  I can now say that your dad who may have been nervous
anticipating your arrival is absolutely sold on fatherhood - but who
wouldn't be after they met you!  He has shown me a side of him that we
as his aunt & uncle had not seen.

We came up to Eureka to meet you and see your parents and we're also
proud to have accompanied you on your first trip to Costco - which
appears to be an initiation rite for the Miller side of the family.

I hope we have many opportunities to get to spend time with you.

      Here's to future Banducci/Karp/Miller soiree's!

Love Judy & Joel Miller (your aunt & uncle)
